TODD SHEEHAN, Director

Todd Sheehan is the dynamic leader of Teen Challenge New Jersey. Since 2009 he has served with a passion and enthusiasm to make the ministry effective in reaching an increasing number of the addicted with the message of freedom and hope.

Todd entered Teen Challenge hopeless and desperate for a change. He describes his turning point: “Death was made very real to me, as I held my lifeless girlfriend, dead of an overdose of heroin and cocaine. That night we had been talking about changing our lives, and we decided that tomorrow was a good place to start. Tomorrow we would make a change. The tragic reality is sometimes we put things off until tomorrow and tomorrow never comes.”

Since Todd completed the recovery program in 2005, he served in various capacities at the Teen Challenge ministry in Manchester, New Hampshire before assuming leadership in New Jersey campus in 2009. He attended Global University and is a credentialed minister with the New Jersey District of the Assemblies of God.

Todd and his wife, Samantha, joyfully make their home in North Jersey with their cherished daughter, Evangeline.

Todd’s mission is to see even more lives transformed and families restored through the power of Christ in New Jersey. He believes “the best is yet to come!”

KEITH RHINEHART, Program Supervisor

In January of 2007 Keith Rhinehart walked into a Burger King in Phillipsburg, NJ.and robbed them. The following morning, he robbed the Exxon across the street.  The state of NJ gave him 5 years in state prison for that crime. While in prison, God began to work in Keith’s life and showed him his need for a Savior. Although locked up, he was free for the first time in his life.

Keith entered Teen Challenge NJ in 2010 where God began to transform his life and develop his character. Today he considers it a privilege to serve Teen Challenge New Jersey as the Program Supervisor. He and his wife Carla live in Clinton, NJ with their dog, “Baby”.

Paul Henderson, Development Supervisor

Paul was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A 25 year addiction to alcohol and drugs led him down an empty road of destruction. Broken, in bondage and spiritually dead, Paul entered Teen Challenge Western PA on October 8, 2012.

Teen Challenge introduced Paul to a Holy God and most importantly, Jesus Christ.  Prior to joining the New Jersey team in February 2016, Paul was serving at Teen Challenge Western PA. His passion is sharing the hope he has found in Christ to the lost and struggling. Paul is pursuing a degree in Business Administration through Liberty University.  He is newly wed to the love of his life, Kristy, and they make their home with their dog “Georgie”.

Bill grew up in a Christian home in East Providence, RI.  He fell into the drug scene in high school. But God is faithful. Bill found Teen Challenge Brockton in 2001. It was during this time of restoration that Bill finally experienced the miracle of freedom through Jesus Christ. Bill joined the Teen Challenge New Jersey team in 2015.  His passion is ministering through music and education.
